Description
VARIETALS. 75% Sangiovese, 17% Malbec, & 8% Cabernet SauvignonVINEYARDS. The Sangiovese comes from Machado Creek, the Malbec from Paso Robles, and the Cabernet Sauvignon from Leslie’s Montebello Estate.
WINEMAKING. Crafted in the spirit of classic Chianti Classico, this blend was created with full artistic freedom in vinification, aging, and blending. Aged in 60% new oak (half French, half American), lending refined notes of vanilla and sweet tobacco. The Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon deepen color, structure, and aromatic complexity, giving this vintage the capacity to age gracefully.
TASTING
Aroma: Vibrant and inviting, with expressive notes of pomegranate, cranberry, and dark red fruits.
Palate: Full-bodied with lifted acidity, beautifully balanced, and layered with rich, dark fruit flavors.
