About This Wine:
Nestled in the heart of suburbia on Allendale Avenue in Saratoga, the Bellicitti Vineyard produces a vibrant Zinfandel, bursting with flavors of dark fruit, baking spices, crackled black peper, tar and anise. This vintage was barrel-aged for two yeas in American oak (25% new barrels), which contributes to the subtle aroma of cotton candy. The fruit intensity and firm acidity in this quintessential Bellicitti Zinfandel is very approachable now, but will further reward with up to 5 more years in the bottle. Serve with lightly spiced dishes, such as pulled pork, barbequed ribs, Italian sausage, grilled eggplant or Cioppino. Belli-citti-ssimo!
