A hedonistic white port, which was created by adding high proof grape alcohol to our Montebello Estate Chardonnay grapes midway through the vinification process, terminating fermentation and resulting in a wine that is high in residual sugar (10.8%) as well as alcohol (18.7%). This vintage was then barrel-aged for 4½ years, allowing it to become infused with the complex and delicate flavors of the oak barrels. Aromatic notes of quince, lemon oil and brown sugar leap from the glass, and reveal a succulent well-balanced palate. It has a luscious mouth-feel with hints of walnut, honey and sweet tangerine, and a velvety finish of creamy butterscotch and caramel. Soft and sweet as a kiss, this sinfully decadent dessert wine will pair beautifully with cheesecake, tiramisu, panna cotta or creme brûlée. It’s also the perfect accompaniment to foie gras and pungent cheeses. Liquid Love!
