Hand-crafted using traditional Champenois methods, this complex dry rosé is a blend of equal parts Pinot Noir (from the Krause Vineyard in Los Altos Hills) and Chardonnay (from the Bruzzone Vineyard in Scotts Valley). The two lots were barrel-aged sur lie for 14-months, and then tiraged for an extended period of 3 ½ years before disgorgement, intensifying the wine's rich creamy mouth feel. This spectacular sparkler is fabulously flirtatious and fun-loving from the first pop of the cork until the very last sip. Delicate nose-tickling bubbles reveal a seductive floral fragrance, while vivacious flavors of dried cherry, strawberry and ginger dance across the palate in a burst of effervescent bliss, culminating with a refreshingly crisp finish. It makes a delightful aperitif and it can also be enjoyed with a wide range of cuisine, from antipasti, soft cheeses, hors d'oeuvres, seafood and sushi. 47 million bubbles per bottle!
