The wine of French Kings and the Three Musketeers, this fickle grape continues to be mastered by the Truchard Vineyard in Napa Valley. We finessed this elegant vintage with 50% new French oak which results in a very concentrated fruit nose of cherry, baking spices, dried orange and even a hint of crème brulee. Classic pairings with a Pinot Noir are Beouf Bourgogne, gruyere or gorgonzola cheeses, smoked duck and wild salmon.
