Our 2006 vintage is elegant and rich with supple tannins and a refreshing acidity, making it a great food wine as well as being age-worthy.
100% Merlot from the Dorcich Vineyards in San Martin, California. You will note beautiful flavors of blackcurrant, blueberry and
smoky cedar from the mix of French and Hungarian oak barrel aging. It will pair easily with medium-weight foods such as veal,
meatloaf, Italian style sausages, roast lamb and duck with fruit sauce. Hearty pasta dishes and pizza also pair well. For cheeses try
Parmesan, Gouda, Cheddar, Monterey Jack or Smoked Provolone.
