This elegant Chardonnay from our Estate vineyards on Montebello Road is a big, bold and beautiful wine with a silky mouth feel and long finish. This wine was barrel-fermented in French oak, sur lees. You will taste lots of vanilla and creamy oak matched with aromas of pear, apple and tropical fruits with a subtle hint of butter from the creamy malolactic fermentation. The acid backbone anchors the weight of the wine to the pallet, giving the wine a very balanced and delightful mouth feel. This will be a wonderful wine to pair with a rich, creamy brie cheese, pastas with cream sauce, or a buttery sea bass, lobster or scallop dish. Ooh la la!
